Cost

  • The cost is 25 points per bracket, sorry no refunds
  • Your friends, family, neighbors, etc. are welcome to join - have them signup here.

Note:  Fill out a bracket with a friend and split the cost (12.50 pts each) or 4 friends (5 pts each) and split the winnings!

Making Your Picks

Once the brackets for the NCAA Tournament are announced, you will select the teams you think will win in each game of each round, all the way through the Championship game.  All picks MUST be completed before the first day of the tournament.

Winners will be determined by the guidelines below.

Winner, Rounds One and Two

The person(s) with the most points AT THE END OF ROUND TWO wins:

Winner, Sweet 16 and Elite 8

The person(s) with the most points IN THE Rounds of the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 ONLY (Note: Scores from the first 2 rounds don't count for this prize) wins:

Winner, Overall Tournament

The person with the most pts. accumulated after the ENTIRE TOURNAMENT is the winner of this contest and they win:

Winner, Each of the 4 Individual Regions

The person(s) with the most pts. accumulated in each of the 4 regions after the ENTIRE TOURNAMENT.  Four chances to win in this category - giving you a chance to walk away with some points, even if your other regions get busted up.  The winner of each region wins:

Scoring by round explained

1st Round

Each correct pick in the 1st round is worth 1 point.

2nd Round

Each correct pick in the 2nd round is worth 2 pts.

Sweet 16

Each correct pick in the Sweet 16 round is worth 4 pts.

Elite 8

Each correct pick in the Elite 8 round is worth 8 pts.

Final 4

Each correct pick in the Final 4 round is worth 16 pts.

Championship Game

Correctly picking the winner of the Championship Game is worth 32 pts.

Overall Tournament

The Grand Prize winner is the person who has the most points accumulated after the entire tournament has completed.  See the "Notes" section below for tiebreaker rules.

Individual Region Winners

The person(s) with the most pts. accumulated in each of the 4 regions after the ENTIRE TOURNAMENT.  Four chances to win in this category - giving you the opportunity to walk away with some points even if your other regions get busted up.

Notes:

In any given round, if two or more players have the same score for that round, they all EQUALLY SPLIT the points awarded.

If two or more players are tied after the entire tournament, the final score total that you will determine when you make your picks will be used as a tiebreaker.
