Wow, what a night Friday night. I am still in
shock that Whip won it again. I wanted to be the
1st 3peat and 1st 4 time champion. (I guess I
should concentrate on winning 1 first). A quick
recap of the final hand for those who were not
there....Gus had Jack of Clubs and Queen of
Clubs and Whip "River Card" Snyder had King of
Hearts and Eight of Hearts. The flop was Ace of
Hearts, 8 of Clubs and 10 of Hearts. Whip, who
had the chip lead, goes all in and Gus quickly
called. The turn card was a 5 of diamonds. No
help for either of them. The river card was the
9 of Hearts giving Gus a straight, but Whip an
Ace High Flush. I can't count how many times
many of us were "rivered" out by Whip. That last
card hurt many of us throughout the night while
going against him. I have included a picture of
the final hand if anyone wants to see it.
In other news, there is now an official BAN
list for my tournaments. You do not want to be
on this list.....not showing up for a tournament
when you said you can make it will put you on
this list. If you originally said you can make
it, but then something comes up, just be sure to
let me know so you do not get banned for future
tournaments. And when I say 9:00, I mean 9:00.
Anyone arriving past 9:00 for the next
tournament will be put on probation.
